🌱 How FurryGuide Began
Our journey with pets started long before this website existed.
In July 2013, we brought home a tiny Pomeranian puppy named Jenny. She was just a month old — small, sleepy, and irresistibly adorable. From the very first day, Jenny became the heart of our home. Watching her grow, learn, play, fall sick, recover, and age taught us more than any guidebook ever could.
Today, Jenny is a senior dog, calmer but still full of warmth — and the biggest inspiration behind FurryGuide.
But Jenny was not our first lesson.
🐕 Lessons That Shaped Us
Before Jenny, we raised a German Shepherd named Badal. He lived with us for nearly five years and taught us what strength, loyalty, and responsibility truly mean. Unfortunately, Badal passed away due to a health emergency that we couldn’t detect in time — a painful experience that left a lasting impact on us.
That loss taught us something crucial:
Pet care isn’t just about love — it’s about awareness, observation, and timely knowledge.
That moment became the foundation of why FurryGuide exists today.

🐾 Ankita — Content & Research
Ankita is the primary content creator at FurryGuide. She manages the website, researches dog breeds, writes detailed pet care guides, and ensures that every article is easy to understand for everyday pet owners.
With over a decade of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including raising Jenny from puppyhood to senior age, Ankita focuses on practical, experience-based advice — what truly works in real homes, not just theory.
Her writing blends research with real-life pet parenting insights, helping readers feel informed, confident, and prepared.
🐾 Satyendra — Founder & Community
Satyendra is the founder of FurryGuide and handles social media, community engagement, and experience-based guidance. His role focuses on connecting with pet lovers, sharing real stories, and spreading awareness about responsible pet ownership.
Having raised both small and large dog breeds, and having experienced both joyful moments and difficult losses, his approach emphasizes early awareness, emotional bonding, and compassionate care.
